Release Notes JoDrop 4.7

• Drag and Drop onto an existing picture box replaces the existing picture and not longer creates a new box.
• Alias files will be resolved on drag and drop (Mac).

• Additional option "Search subfolders" for drag and drop of a folder.

• Additional option "Show PDF Options" for showing/not showing the PDF import dialog after drag and drop.
• Within the dialog "Edit image" after double clicking a picture box the edit field for the image path has been expanded to two lines and can therefore also show longer paths. By clicking into the dialog title with the Alt-key pressed the folder structure of the picture file is shown.

• Keyboard was not working after some JoDrop dialogs (Windows only)

• Shortcut Cmd-Shift-R for renaming and relinking a picture
• In case of renaming a picture all boxes with the same picture path are also relinked

• Improved user interface for PDF Import
• Bug fix for dropping a single page pdf to a box with a multi page document

• Drag and Drop with Quark 8 improved. The mouse position is now calculated correctly on dropping
• Dropping unsupported PDF versions does not crash QuarkXPress anymore. The resulting frame keeps empty.

• With Quark 8 it was not possible to deactivate Drag und Drop

Installation

JoDrop is delivered in two binaries, one for QuarkXPress 6.5 and one for QuarkXPress 7.0. To install JoDrop you have to copy "JoDrop.xnt" into the according XTensions folder and to restart QuarkXPress. A dialog pops up for entering an activation key or to use JoDrop in demo mode. In demo mode JoDro only works with single page documents!
